Woman's iPad app misjudges pregnancy contractions
Sep 22, 2010
(NECN) - "There's an app for that" -- You've heard the saying, and now one woman has put it to the test.
A woman in Oklahoma City used her iPad to track the timing of her contractions. But it turns out, she possibly paid too much attention to technology and waited to go to the hospital. When she soon realized the baby was coming, her husband called 911 and talked him through the birth.A paramedic arrived just as the 6 pound, 2 ounce bundle of joy was about to enter the world.
