| As of the last part of October, there were 37,180 iPad apps in the App Store, with the total increasing by an incredible 1,000 every day! Books and games make up the largest categories, but other genres abound in everything you, and developers, can possibly imagine! Some are very productive, making your life easier or richer, some provide entertaining interludes, while others are just silly and frivolous.
Because there are so many apps, finding ones you want can be frustrating. The App Store has a search function, but it often shows too many results to be helpful. Apps that can help you find other apps are essential, as well as websites that exist solely to help you narrow the search for the best app for you. Apps for iPads is one site that provides you with good information, news, reviews, interviews, videos and tutorials so you can determine if an iPad app is what you are looking for before you buy it. At Apps for iPads, which is our sister site to this one, we do not cut, paste and regurgitate other reviews or just the info you could have already gleaned from the App Store. We take the time to use and evaluate each application before reporting on them to you. When time allows we make a video so you can see the app in action. When possible, we interview the developers to ask them the questions we feel you would if you could. We put that all together to give you what we hope is the best tool for not just finding iPad apps, but for finding the right iPad app for you.

What you are reading is what we refer to as one of our satellite sites, where we provide additional iPad info that doesn't necessarily fit into our main, sister site, but is information YOU may want or need… and we find interesting.
